Mary F.  Ciaccio

Mary F. Ciaccio, 86, lifelong Rockford resident, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Rosewood Care Center.  Born May 9, 1925, daughter of Alecio and Frances Ciaccio Ciaccio.  Mary was an extremely hard worker who was employed by Eclipse Corporation for many years and Dom's Pizzeria for 25 years.  She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a dedicated member of St. Mary's Society where she actively participated in the yearly May parade of the Celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  She was a kind, nurturing, loving woman whose family was always her first priority.

Survivors include her aunt, Mary L Ciaccio, numerous cousins and Godchildren.  Predeceased by her parents and 2 infant brothers.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012  in St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Franciscan Friars officiating.  Memorial visitation from 9 a.m. until time of the Mass.  Memorials may be made to St. Anthony Church.  The family was assisted by Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
