Patricia Champlin

July 24, 1938 - June 28, 2012

Patricia "Pat" Champlin, 73, of Rockford passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Amberwood Nursing Home.  She was born July 24, 1938 in Beloit, the daughter of Margaret Peterson.  Pat lived in Rockford for 52 years, coming here from Beloit.  She married Lyle Champlin on May 14, 1955.

Survived by husband, Lyle; sons, Bud (Janet) Champlin and Brian (Kelly) Champlin; grandsons, Ty Champlin and Connor Champlin; sister, Ginger Westover and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her daughter, Cindy Lou, sister, Annie Chamberlain and brother Bob "Pete" Peterson.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road with Reverend Roger Carlson officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 2 at the funeral home.  Burial in East Lawn Cemetery to be held at a later date.
