Gloria J. Rapp-Gottman, 67 Gloria J. Rapp-Gottman, 67 of Rockford went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Swedish American Hospital. Born May 5, 1945 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Orville and Opal Burton. Worked for 30 years in quality control for MidStates Screw and National Lock. Married her loving husband Bill Gottman on May 20, 2005. Gloria loved to travel and was especially fond of her wonderful family. She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Roger (Cindy) Rapp, Jeff (Chris) Rapp, Marsha (Kelly) Wirth, Bill (Kristi) Gottman, Joe (Mary) Gottman, Sue Stoltz, Beth (Dean) Heusinkveld, Becky (Darin) Williams, Hannah (Rick) Kardell and Debbie (Steve) Roberson; grandchildren, Tiffany (Justin) Davis , Rebecca Davis, Leah Rapp and 27 additional grandchildren; brothers, David (Becky) and Mark Burton; sisters, Daisy Harris, Jo Ann Reeves, Betty Wright and Vicky Storment; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend Margie Brown and several other special friends. Preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Roger Rapp, 1 brother and 1 sister and her son-in-law, Sam Stoltz. Funeral service Monday, July 30, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Life Church 4312 20th St. Rockford with Pastors Scott and Char Gipson officiating. Entombment will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
