E. Grace McLester, 83

E. Grace McLester, 83, of Rockford passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Riverbluff Nursing Home.  Born November 23, 1928 in Elliott, ND; the daughter of Leonard and Nettie (Decker) McDaniel.  Grace married F. Ray McLester  in Rockford.  She was a founding member of Our Masters United Methodist Church along with her husband.  Grace was very involved in church and active in her children's school activities.  She devoted herself to caring for her children and cared for her disabled daughter, Sean, for 20 years. 

Grace is lovingly survived by her children, Michael of Rockford, Owana (James) McLester-Greenfield of Des Moines, IA, Rand of Butte, Montana, Tim (Tamara) of Rockford, Sean of Rockford, Cindy Nyquist of Rockford, Laura of Rockford and Todd (Kristin) of Byron; 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by her parents, husband and 5 siblings.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd with Pastor Lennox Barnett of Heartland Community Church officiating.
