BELOVED WIFE AND AUNT

Audrey J. Easton "Aunt Dodie", 82, Rockford, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, in SwedishAmerican Hospital.  She was born January 31, 1931, on a farm in Davis Junction, the daughter of Iver and Alva (Schumacher) Peterson.  Audrey married Donald F. Easton on June 13, 1953, in Rockford.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.  Audrey worked for 35 years in the medical field.  She loved to babysit, cook, shop and read.

Survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Donald; nieces, Kathy (Kevin) Williams, Rachele (Shawn) Edwards, Kelsey Edwards, Aubrey Dunn; nephews, Ryan (Katherine Wadsworth) Dunn and Kyler Edwards, all of Rockford; several other nieces and nephews: her aunt and uncle; and her sister-in-law, Doris Peterson . Predeceased by her parents and her brother, LaVerne L. Peterson.  Special thanks to the staff on 8 West and Rachele for all of her support and care.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Zion Lutheran Church, 925 5^th Av. with Rev. Dr. Michael Thomas officiating.  Visitation from 9:30 am until 10:15 am on Saturday at the church. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
