Teresa M. Pinzarrone 89 of Rockford passed away at 4:10pm Thursday February 25, 2010 in OSF St Anthony Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1920 in Rockford. The daughter of Luigi and Jennie(Vascellaro)Ferruggia. She married Joseph J. Pinzarrone Sr. in Rockford on February 23, 1963. Joe predeceased her in 1988. She worked as a beautician and cosmetologist for many years. Member of Holy Family church and the Womans Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include her sons, Paul of IL and Joseph Jr of CA; granddaughters, Emma, Kathryn, Ellie and Nicole Pinzarrone; sister, Josephine (Ferruggia) Provasi of CA; nieces and nephews, Ken Provasi of CA, Eugene Provasi of CA, Kathy Ferruggia of AZ, Louis Ferruggia of IL, Jo Anne (Ferruggia) Snyderman of NC, Deb Boulley of WI. Predeceased by her parents, husband, brothers, Frank and Sam and sister, Mary Ferruggia.
Mass of Resurrection at 11:00am Tuesday March 2, 2010 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Monsignor Thomas Bales officiating. Entombment in Sunset memorial Gardens. Visitation at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory 1860 S. Mulford Rd on Monday from 5pm until 7pm, with rosary at 7pm. Visitation also from 10 am until time of service Tuesday in the church.
