Brian is a proud Chicagoan who spent his first 25 years in the famous 2nd city. Moved to Rockford 10 years ago with his family and is very happy to be a member of this excellent community. After extensive training with a well-known insurance company, Brian has the knowledge and expertise to assist families with their financial needs as well as advance funeral planning expertise that he has gained during the last 2 years at Fitzgerald Funeral Home. Mike Boland, CPC


Funeral Assistant/Certified Preplanning Consultant

Mike Boland is a lifelong native of Northern Illinois.  He was born and raised in Freeport, IL and is a graduate of Aquin Central Catholic High School. Prior to joining Fitzgerald Funeral Home in 2005, Mike worked in the insurance industry. As a brother-in-law to Tom Fitzgerald, Mike has been associated with the funeral industry for many years.

Mike recently acheived his CPC Certification (Certified Preplanning Consultant) and has many duties at Fitzgerald Funeral Home as a funeral assistant on funeral services. He has an amazing eye for decorating and enjoys painting.

He is the proud father of two children and the proud grandfather of two grandchildren. Mike is also a devoted member of St Peters Cathedral Church.
