Some families structure very creative ceremonies. Veterans sometimes want military funerals. Some families desire extensive services and some families want minimal services. We service families in the manner they wish to be served. We can unbundled any package, or add any service a family desires. We're here to meet your needs.
Every family we serve, and every service we conduct is custom designed by each family when working with our licensed funeral arrangers. For clarity and ease of understanding, below we have summarized the types of services most of our families ask us to perform... but each service is different; each life is unique; and each family chooses to honor those lives in a manner appropriate to them.
4 Decisions Every Family Must Make
We find that in order to simplify the funeral arrangements process, it is helpful to divide the process into 4 simple decisions, and then take them one at a time.
Decision 1 - The type of “Service” that you wish, if any, to commemorate the life lived and provide family and friends with an opportunity to show support for the living and respect for the deceased. Those options will be discussed in the following sections:
Decision 2 - The type of casket or container your loved one will be placed in for burial or cremation. See Merchandise for more information on these options and products, or ask our staff to assist you.
Decision 3 - The type of container that the remains will be permanently placed within; i.e., a Vault or Grave Box in the case of cemetery earth burial; or in the case of cremation, the type of Urn or Container the cremated remains will be returned to you in or permanently stored within. See Merchandise for more information on these options and products, or ask our staff to assist you.
Decision 4 - The type of permanent memorialization, if any, that you wish for your loved one.
In the case of earth burial this can be as simple as a grass marker or an upright monument in a cemetery or as elaborate as a crypt in a Mausoleum or even the erection of a Family Mausoleum.
In the case of a cremation, this can range from a simple “scattering” with ceremony, or placement in an urn on a mantel or placement in a Niche in a Columbarium.
Decision #4 - the type of permanent memorialization desired, does not have to be made immediately. Decisions 1, 2 and 3 require timely decision making under difficult circumstances. We recommend that these decisions be made, if possible, during a Pre-need arrangements meeting.
